1,000 people just like you, me, and our community. Because the decisions we make together during the meeting will affect each one of us, it is important that participants represent all of the different people who make up our community.

Because we’ll be discussing nutrition and physical activity in youth, we’ll especially want to hear from young people, as well as their families, friends and neighbors. For this reason it is very important that young people ages 14 and up attend the meeting.

In order to make sure that everyone who wants to have the opportunity to participate, we will provide:

• Sign language interpretation
• Spanish translation
• Limited on-site childcare for children out of diapers between the ages of 3 and 10
• Free parking for participants and limited free bus transportation from selected communities to the convention center
